I have all the names filled in but can't make any progress on the left screen, even after rot13-ing all the spoilered comments here, there's just not enough information. Can I get a hint?
Someone was blackmailing Marianne and she hired Gander to find out who? Then Gander got poisoned at the party, and someone dressed up as him and impersonated him? Maybe?
You're on the right track! try thinking about the logistics of a potential impersonator, who, when, why etc. there may be a little more to the "blackmail", because why would gander need to be poisoned if he was meant to be the one investigating this blackmail in the first place?
I mean, if he was investigating the blackmail, presumably the blackmailer poisoned him to stop the investigation (and if that's not the correct answer, then I know so little I'm going to need a more detailed hint).
As for the potential impersonator, I think it's got to be Pearl or Lloyd, but I have no idea why either of them would want to do that. Maybe just to throw off investigations into the time of death?
Even when expanding the window to full screen, the left Goose solve screen doesn’t show completely, meaning I don’t know whether there are unfilled boxes, and what solutions would fit most logically. Otherwise it’s a pleasant attempt at a de-duck-tion game (hehe).
The left side of the 'Goose' section should have been 2 parts. It's a lot to get right at once, and I don't feel there's enough hints to really know who did what, especially for the first sentence. I've been switching names around a lot, and it gets a little tiring when you have to type first and last name separately, and there's no nudge if I'm closer to the truth until I have all but 1 person or 2 verbs and/or nouns correct.

I really wish I could see the ending, but it's impossible to rule out who did what. The game looks extremely charming, and everyone sounds like they have their own 'voice', I imagine with more time and polish I'd be having lots of fun with our deceased detective.

I feel like I'm being asked to read the dev's mind.
I couldn't get the dragging to work properly, so I opted for text input boxes instead. the words just function as a word bank. I could have definitely made that more clear
